During your week in Jackson your team will work on various work projects at the Perkins Center and around the neighborhood with our Zechariah 8 community. You will be exposed to the hardships facing the families of West Jackson. You’ll learn about the civil rights movement and the role that John, Vera Mae and the whole Perkins family played. And you’ll get a chance to sit down with Dr. Perkins and glean from his years of wisdom!
