Come join us at the new John M. Perkins Retreat Center in Jackson, MS. At the Retreat Center pastors, educators, and community and ministry leaders will have the chance to spend time with Dr. John Perkins. the Perkins Foundation staff and a team of CCD veteran leaders. Utilizing the experience of his 49 years in ministry, Dr. Perkins wants to work with the next generation of leaders dedicated to wholistic Christian Community Development.

We envision these sessions to be more intimate and personal than Dr. Perkins other speaking engagements. Yes, he and others will preach and teach but the real gift of the Retreat Center will be time you get to spend with Dr. Perkins—a man of God, a visionary leader, an inspiring teacher and a seasoned community organizer. Rather than seeing him from the back of an auditorium, sit with him at his home, ask him questions and get to know a new side of Dr. Perkins.

Through this training we hope to create more churches, ministries, schools and communities that reflect the Kingdom of God. With sound Biblical training of CCD principles we believe that these groups will be more dedicated, effective and inspired as they work on Kingdom issues in their own context.
