At the John M. Perkins Foundation we believe in incarnational love. This is the love that God poured out for us when he sent Jesus to Earth. He did not come to Earth as a king but as a baby. Jesus lived among us. He felt our pain and experienced our joy. Because he became “one of us” he was able to serve us. He understood what it meant to be human - especially in death. He did not reject us but loved us inspite of our ourselves. We believe that in following Jesus’ model we are called to love and serve people.
