Vera Mae Perkins is home! After being in and out of the hospital for more than two months she is home at the Perkins Center. At Highland Home Rehabilitation Center she did physical therapy for a few hours everyday and was walking more than 100 feet at a time.

She still can’t quite get up on her own but is able to get around on her own — a huge answer to prayer!

“Thank you for all of your prayers. I’m so thankful that they were answered,” Vera Mae said. “I can walk by myself. And I feel stronger than I have in a long time.”

One of the real blessings is that a member of the Bruderhof is currently living with Vera Mae. Stella, an LPN, is helping with cleaning, cooking and her health requirements. We thank the Lord for her!
